a few of us were talking earlier, and we thought it'd be cool to use a multi-select listbox so more than one user can be selected when sending a pqn. Is this possible?

It would just be very useful to tel lyour friends you'll BBL or something, but only those you talk to privately, or those who have turned publics off.

The last message makes a good point. It would be an easy way for someone to talk to all users even those with publics off. Maybe if there was a limit on how many you could select? Not sure. Also would have to look at the quicknote code. The code is pretty complex with QN history, etc. so it's not as easy of an idea as it sounds. And I don't think we want QN history broke again.

thought I'd bring this back, since it's a great idea, and I really hope we get it at some point.

well it'd sure make life a bit easier. i mean, why waste time cutting and pasting when you can select the people you want to send a message to, and write it once. i agree with this idea.

Yeah. I like the idea. And, I'm not gonna say shit about the clique comment, I'd be wasting my breath. Regardless, I love the idea, and hope it's implemented... somehow.

cliques are going to exist no matter what so...I see nothing wrong with this

Post 14 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Sunday, 07-Sep-2008 4:06:26

i all for this idea however i think also it would be nice. If you when you get more then one qn from two difrentpeople at the same time ormore if you could like typ a ssepret message for ech person like have a text box for echperson butonly one send butten so when youclick send all 2 or 3 orhowever many responces youtyped would besent to the respective senders at the same time.

I think, after long hours here of figuring out what the fuck this means...
I think he wanst separate text boxes in quicknotes for when you get more than one pqn.

Post 19 by maroon five (I'm going for the prolific poster awards!) on Sunday, 07-Sep-2008 20:02:32

um? red star, can you type that so we can understand, please? not picking, just didn't quite understand it. Garret, couldn't have put that better myself.

lol. that sounded like brad. anyway, i agree with this suggestion, i can think of several instances when it may come in handy for example if you are sending a joke, or if you want to talk to all your friends at once...
